The Orange County Sheriff's Museum & Education Center supported the annual Crime Survivors 5k Survive & Thrive Run/Walk Health and Safety Expo held on October 8, 2011, at the Orange County Sheriff's Regional Training Academy in Tustin. The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort Concours d'Elegance annual classic car show fundraiser event was held on Sunday, June 26, 2011, in Dana Point.

The Orange County Sheriff's Museum & Education Center was requested by the car show planning committee, through Dana Point Police Services, to display our 1962 Chrysler Newport replica Sheriff's car. This major charitable fundraiser event had an estimated attendance of 2000 people. Around 200 classic rare and unique vehicles were displayed, with some being offered at auction. Proceeds for this wonderful event went to several worthwhile local charities. The Museum's Chrysler Newport was very popular with car buffs, being both a rare car type and a classic vintage Sheriff's car.

The Orange County Sheriff's Museum & Education Center proudly exhibited at the Great Park's Festival of Time—A Day of History event on Saturday, May 14, 2011, in Irvine. This interesting and colorful event included vintage passenger vehicles, military aircraft, historic displays, and vintage Orange County Sheriff's vehicles such as a 1962 Chrysler Newport patrol car, a 1987 Kawasaki KZ-1000 Sheriff's motorcycle, and a 1990 Sheriff's SWAT van, which also serves as a mobile museum. Also seen were two Sheriff's mounted riders of beautiful horses. An estimated 1500 to 2000 visitors enjoyed the event, which included a musical stroll through the 1940s, concluding with a movie under the stars featuring South Pacific from 1958.
